Strand Het Zoute
The very first beach in north Belgium, not far away from the border with Netherlands, is the sandy beach Strand Het Zoute. It is located in the region West-Vlaanderen in the city Knokke-Heist. It is a very touristic place with lots of apartments and hotels directly on the beach. It is very easy to reach with any kind of vehicle and you can park beside the road some 200 m away from the beach. The access to the beach is very easy. The total length is several kilometres and in the case of low tide this beach is a few 100m wide. You have a nice water entry and the point of swim is at around 40 metres. All the essential beach infrastructure is available here as well as a beach bar.
