In the vicinity of the Belgian city of Koksijde, which is known for being a true tourist destination, there is also a beach that does not have such a strong tourist hinterland and is not so crowded. The beach is surrounded by an abundance of sand dunes that give the beach a true natural character, of course this beach is also sandy. If you like this type of beach, this beach is very easily accessible with all types of vehicles. You can park your vehicle easily at designated parking areas along the road, which are only 50 meters away. Since the beach has basic beach infrastructure, this beach is also suitable for families. Along the road there are apartments that you can rent for your vacation. Otherwise it is allowed to bring dogs to the beach. Unfortunately there are no restaurants or anything like that on this beach, so bring your food with you. The beach is several kilometers long and has a minimum width of 40 meters, but of course this width increases to more than 100 meters in the case of low tide. The slope of the beach is fairly uniform, the entry into the water is very comfortable, and you can count on the swimming point at ca. 50 meters.
