The beach we are describing here, is located in another famous belgian tourist destination, the town Middelkerke. This beach is called Strand Casino. It is a typical family beach, when you consider all the tourist infrastructure sorrounding the beach. Like it is usual in Belgium and for such a tourist destination you also have here the option for a very close parking to the beach, at most 100 m away, some even closer, only a few meters away. Like all other beaches in Belgium also this one is made of sand. The lenght of the beach is several kilometers and is more than 100 meters wide, at low tide even more. Another unique feature of the beach is the quite unique formation of the beach, with steep parts, where you have a 2 meters drop to a more flat surface, somewhere in the middle of the beach. Because you have here also a strong difference in low and high tide, you also need to consider the point of swim changing accordingly, but is should be at around 30 meters. Dogs are allowed on this beach, but they need to be on the line. The beach infrastructure is present here on a basic level. You won't get hungry here, because many different restaurants, beach bars and fast food kiosks are available here.
