Strand Westelijke Strekdam
The Belgium city Oostende is probably one of the most popular summer/ sun / beach tourist destination in this country. It is located in the region West-Vlaanderen and has many beautiful and attractive beaches to offer. Strand Westelijke Strekdam is one of them, and it is located directly in the city centre, close to the harbour. It is very easy to reach with any kind of vehicle amd parking can be done mostly by the road. It will take you some 50m of walking to access the beach. On the beach you have around 750m of beach length and a few 100m of beach width available. The water entry is nice and the point of swim depends on the tide and at which part of the beach you enter the water, but it should be between 5 and 40 m. All the essential beach infrastructure is available here as well as many different types of restaurants. You will also find many different forms of accommodation, some located directly at the beach.
