The north danish city Hirtshals, when facing to the west the North Sea, has a very special and unique beach with 10 metres high cliffs. It is a sandy beach recommended for family users, although on some spots for more an adventure type user. It is located in the north region Nordjylland. It is very easy to reach this location with any kind of vehicle. You have multiple options to park your car, either you do it by the road or on a parking place with the height regulation, only a few metres away from the beach. Because here are high cliffs you can access the beach via steps. The main surface on the beach is sand. The total length is several km with a width of 50 m. On some spots you have rocks on the beach on some there is only sand. The water entry is nice and the point of swimming is at around 30 m. You have some basic beach infrastructure nearby. Some options to get something to eat or to drink are also available and you don't need to worry about accommodation, because here are plenty different types of it.
