In the far north of Germany, near the Baltic Sea, you have a city called Greifswald. Not many beaches are here around, it's a quite swampy area, so the one beach, which is located just next to the city it's quite precious. It goes by the name Strand Eldena. You can reach it with any kind of vehicle, even a motorhome, and the parking lot is only 300 m away from the beach. It is more suitable for families especially with small children, since the water is very flat here. The beach is made of sand, it is 500 m long and more than 100 m wide. The water entry is very nice and comfortable and the swimming point is at around 75 m. On the beach there is some beach infrastructure but it is not on the highest level and not every thing you need is present there. A bistro and fast foods are available at the beach, and in the surrounding area you will find many different options for your accommodation.
