Welcome to the Greek beach Profitis Ilias. Natural shades are not very often to find on the beaches around the town of Maronia. But this paralia, or beach in English, is different. It still belongs to the region Anatoliki Makedonia kai Thraki, it's a family beach with a mixture of sand, pebbles and big stones. Parking is possible in front of the beach, and motorhomes are welcomed as well. Some basic beach infrastructure is available here, but don't expect too much. A beach bar is available here, a restaurant is not available. The beach has a length of 750 metres, a width of 30 metres, the beach inclination is normal. When going to the water you have a comfortable water entry, you can expect to start swimming already at 5 metres. Accommodation, especially apartments are available in the vicinity.
