Strand Zuid
Because of its geography this Netherland region Groningen, has very little beaches on the coastline, but has more on the lakes, located all through the region. One such lake, with a beautiful beach ,is called Oldambtmeer. It is located near the city Winschoten, close to the village Blauwestad. The name of the beach is Strand Zuid. It is a family type beach, with sand as the main surface, but you also have some grass there. It is very easy to reach with any kind of vehicle, also with motorhomes, and you can park only 30 m away from the beach. The beach is 100m long, 20 m wide and has a nice beach shape. The water entry is very nice and the swimming is allowed in a little area. Some basic beach infrastructure is located on the beach, also children playgrounds. Nearby you also have a bistro if you get hungry. For accommodation you have nearby the option to rent some apartments.
