If you are searching for a Dutch sandy beach with very little beach infrastructure, a very large parking place and a unique natural environment, we would recommend you to visit the beach Strand Drooghe Weert. it is located In the region Noord-Holland, close to the city Julianadorp. This beach characteristics make it suitable to a more an adventurous type of beach user. This locationis is very easy to reach with any kind of vehicle and you have a very large parking place some 400m away from the beach. The path to the beach goes over a 10 metre high sand dune. On the beach you have a very large beach area which gets even wider in the case of low tide. The total length is several kilometres and it is 100m wide. On some part the beach is very flat and with the shallow water the beach entry is nice, but the swimming point is far out away. No basic services are available here, a restaurant also not. Accommodation is not available on the beach itself, also not in the vicinity, but it's further away.
