In Netherlands you won't find any sandy beach which can offer you more sport activities of all different types then on the beach Strand Brouwersdam De Kous. This beach is not only very flat, it is also very long, several kilometres and around 500 m wide, which makes it ideal for buggy surfing or buggy kiting. But it is not only reserved for sports, you also have a part reserved only for simple sunbathing and swimming. If you like all those beach characteristics, this location is very easy to reach with any kind of vehicle and you have several kilometres parking options along the whole stretch of the beach. This beach is located in the region Zuid-Holland on the Brouwersdam, close to the city Ouddorp. You have all the essential beach infrastructure an additional beach services located directly on the beach. When going to the water the beach gets a little bit more steep before you enter the water, but it is always a very nice water entry and the point of swim is at around 30 m. A restaurant and a few beach bars, as well as beach equipment rental shops, are also located here. Accommodation is available close by on the other side of the dam in the form of apartments and hotels and even as a camp.
