Most of the beaches in the Dutch region Zuid-Holland are made of sand and have immense proportions in the sense of their sizes, but you also have one beach where the main surface is grass. One of the reasons is also the fact that it is not located on the west coastline, where you have the most sandy beache, but on the lake Grevelingenmeer, very close to the Brouwersdam, near the city Ouddorp, were not many sandy beaches are located. It is very easy to get here with any kind of vehicle and you can park almost directly at the beach on a very large parking place. This beach is also very popular amongst windsurfers and those one who need shallow waves and strong winds. You also have here a very unique installation, it is a waterslide with a jump into the lake. The beach has a total length of 300m, is 20 m wide, is very flat, has a nice water entry and the point of swim is at 15 m. All the necessary beach infrastructure and additional services are located directly on the beach. A beachbar and a restaurant are as well located here. In the surrounding area you also have different types of accommodation available, also a camp.
