Greg, a beach enthusiast, and his partner Lara with their little son Gaber will travel, explore and expand data base with additional 1.000 beaches in 1 year. 

The night is getting nearer and nearer, yet I cannot help myself but to think of the four years I have spent on visiting, photographing and just plainly and most innocently enjoying beaches.

Croatia has numerous tourist destinations, which in summer months invite many domestic and foreign visitors. One of those destinations is the Makarska coastline or Makarska Riviera.

The time is here my dear BeachRex friends! The time for what, you might ask? The time to bring my 'little' project to Kickstarter.

Sounds a bit farfetched, doesn’t it? Let’s just say that fetching will play a role in this story.

Since I was a little boy, I always enjoyed being on the beach. I loved all the beach activities; building castles, swimming, fishing and diving for beautiful shells. I think that my love for beach comes from my parents, who were also beach enthusiasts. It was normal for us that we went on the seaside and enjoy the sun. And I enjoyed every minute of it. I simply loved the sea!

The sun, the sand and the sea… For me these are the best three words in the world. Do you feel the same? Can you share my passion? As far as I am concerned it is logical. Over 70 percent of our planet’s surface is water. We can’t survive without water. And around 60 percent of our body is water, so no wonder we get all tingly when thinking about the sea.
