Welcome to the beach Divjakës. The Albanian region Fier has a very special coastline which mainly consist of very long sandy beaches. Near the small town Divjakë you have such a beach, called Plazhi Divjakës. It is not only famous because of the beach, but also because of the beautiful nature protected area, with lots of birds, especially pelicans and flamingos. It's easy to reach it with all kind of vehicles, even motorhomes and you can park directly on the beach itself. From the point where you have the largest accommodation concentration to the point where you actually come to the beach, you need to drive on sandy roads, it is safe, because they are very stable, especially when they are dry, not so much after the rain. The beach itself is several kilometres long and more than 100 metres wide. The inclination of the beach is very low, it's almost flat and so is the water where you need to walk for 100 metres to reach the point of swim. This makes this beach, except from the fact that on the beach itself there is little beach infrastructure, perfect for small children to play safely in the water. On the beach itself there is almost no infrastructure, but more is around the restaurants and accommodation, which are also located on the beach. You have many types of accommodation to choose from. Here is a hotel, a resort and some apartments.
