The Dutch city Callantsoog is a very popular tourist destination, not only for the Dutch people, but also for foreign tourists, mainly the Germans. The city itself has many different types of accommodation to offer and of course they also have a very beautiful sandy beach Strand Abbestee, with lots of beach infrastructure and services. If you're interested, you can find this location in the Dutch region Noord-Holland. It is very easy accessible with any kind of vehicle and you have a very large parking place 300m away from the beach. Like it is usual for this type of beaches you need to cross a 10 m high dune via a concrete path. This sandy beauty is several kilometres long and has a minimum of 100 m width, at low tide even more. The water entry is nice and because of the shallow water the point of swim is far out away. Not only you have here all the essential beach infrastructure, you also have different types of restaurants on the beach itself. Around the parking place many types of apartments and hotels are available, and in the vicinity there is also a camp.
