If you're searching for a sandy beach in the dutch region Zeeland, close to the city Nieuwvliet, and with nice views of the west coast line and the large container ships passing by, we recommend you to visit the beach Strand Kruishoofd. No matter what the vehicle you are travelling with this location is very easy to reach and you have a very large parking place 200 m away from the beach. Around the parking place and in the surrounding area you have many camps, apartments and even hotels. The access to the beach is very easy and you can either use the stairs or take a v paved path. If you're a fan of building sand castles or digging large sand holes with your children, you will have a very large beach area with many kilometres of length a minimum width of 100 m available for your activities. The water entry is nice and the point of swim mostly depends on low tide or high tide, but should be at around 30 m. Almost all necessary beach infrastructure is available here and additionally you also have a beach bar and a restaurant to fill your stomach and enjoy the dutch cuisine.
