Denmark is full of surprises, especially when it comes to beaches on the west coast or the North sea coast. This one is unique, because it's one of the few ones which beside the beach offers you also a swimming pool with fresh sea water directly on the beach. If you think this beach is the one you would like to visit, we recommend you to drive towards the region Nordjylland in the direction of the city Thisted, and head to the beach Strand Vorupør. The whole area around the beach is very friendly towards parking your vehicle, no matter what the type. Motorhomes can also park here. From the parking place to the beach it is only 50 m of walking. Some beach infrastructure, like toilets and showers, is located around the parking place, some is directly on the beach. On the beach you have lots of surface, the total length is several km, and the widthness is more than 100 m. The water entry is nice, no mater if you go to swim by the beach or by the swimming pool, and according to that, the point of swim is between 0 (if you use the ladder) or more 10 metres. Many different types of restaurants are available near the beach, the same diversity is also true when it comes to accommodation, where you have multiple options to choose from.
