The north German city Heiligenhafen offers you many beautiful sandy beaches of all kind of shapes and forms. The beach Strand Steinwarder is one of them and it is a family type beach. The region this beaches are located belongs to Schleswig-Holstein. The whole area is very well organised and it is a famous touristic location. You have many options to leave your vehicle here, also a motorhome. From the parking place to the beach it takes you only 200m of walking. The beach has a total length of 250 m and is on some places 50m wide. Outside the season, when the winds get stronger from the North west, this is a popular place for windsurfing. The point of swim starts already after 10 m. Some beach infrastructure with a few services is available here. You also have a beach bar directly on the beach. To find an accommodation here is not a problem, you have plenty of different options in the whole area.
