On the Dutch lake Gravelingenmeer, which is located in the region Zuid-Holland, you have a nice sandy beach, called Strand Grevelingenstrand, on the small peninsula Port Zélande. This peninsula is attached to the Brouwersdam. The closest city here around is Ouddorp. On the beach itself you also have a touristic village with nice small houses located directly on the beach. If you like this characteristic, it is very easy to arrive here with any kind of vehicle and you can park beside the road only 50 m away from the beach. This beach is artificial made and it comes in many different shapes and forms, which are dispersed around the whole beach. The water entry on most spots of the beach is quite steep and the point of swim is at around 10m. The total length of the beach is 300 m and it has a maximum width of 10m. All the essential beach infrastructure is located here, restaurants are not available and you have the accommodation available directly on the beach or you can choose some other one in the vicinity.
